Why Golfers Get Hurt

golfer in blue harThe golf swing involves intense rotational force. When this movement is repeated over time — especially with poor mechanics or underlying structural imbalances — it can lead to microtrauma, spinal stress, and serious long-term damage. And let’s be honest, most of us don’t swing like a pro. In fact, golfers with less-than-ideal movement patterns are even more at risk for injury.

Do you ever feel soreness in your lower back after a round of golf? Or pain between your shoulder blades after a powerful drive? You’re not alone — we hear this kind of feedback from our patients almost every week.

The Solution: Golf-Specific Movement Evaluation

That’s where Dr. Randy Randhawa’s expertise comes in. Not only is he an experienced chiropractor who understands the mechanics of the body, but he also recently earned his Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 2 certification — a gold standard in golf fitness and performance evaluation.

With this certification, Dr. Randy is trained to perform a comprehensive golf-specific movement assessment designed to identify biomechanical weaknesses that may be affecting your swing or making you more prone to injury. This isn’t a generic fitness screen — it’s tailored specifically for golfers and backed by the latest research from the TPI.

What You’ll Gain

  • Pinpoint movement restrictions that could be hurting your swing
  • Reduce your risk of injury by correcting structural and neurological imbalances
  • Improve performance on the course by optimizing how your body moves
  • Enjoy the game longer, with less pain and better endurance

Whether your issues stem from spinal misalignments, muscular imbalances, or a lack of mobility, Dr. Randy can help. His approach often combines chiropractic care with targeted corrective exercises, so you not only feel better — you play better.
