Lansing Chiropractors Dr. Denise Rassel & Dr. Jean-Guy Daigneault

“People would crawl in …and they would walk out. Sick people got well. ‘Expect A Miracle’ was the sign that hung above my desk when I worked for my parents as a teenager. I always wondered why a person wouldn’t try a spinal adjustment?” After trying other careers she came back to her roots. More than a career, it is an opportunity to bring better health to the community. Dr. Denise Rassel attended Lansing Community college and graduated President of her class at Life University, Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Jean-Guy, a native of Montreal Quebec, Canada, is a Doctor of Chiropractic today due to the phenomenal care he received during his fifteen year Hockey career finishing at the Quebec Major Junior level. His first studies were in Physical Education at McGill University and includes a Bachelors in Nutrition and Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating second in his class from Life University.
The Doctors believe firmly in empowering individuals to obtain optimal health. They continue to share from current research, their own beliefs, and the latest seminars what they have learned thru workshops held in the office or off site by invitation. They also share their knowledge by welcoming interns from Michigan State University to shadow and work in the office for college credit. Through post graduate training they can help others take a proactive approach to health.
From newborns to seniors, from the extremely busy mom to the most serious athlete, and from an individual seeking better posture or a person in serious pain…all find help and improved health thru the approach taken by Dr. Denise and Dr. Jean-Guy. “Our deepest fulfillment is witnessing pain disappear, health return to the sick, athletes achieve better performance and actually seeing the improvements in their spine by Posture analysis and spinal x-rays.”
The family includes five children: Jessica, Justine, Jake, Jean-Christophe, and Jacqueline. Oh, don’t forget Julius, the dog, and Shark Boy, the fish! The three that live at home keep them quite busy. The family enjoys Church activities, bowling, ice skating, swimming, and basketball. The little kids take dance, and Jake is really into paint balling (he likes to shoot the moving target whose name is Jean-Guy). The adults when not playing hard enjoy reading, studying the bible, taking classes and going to seminars. Dr. Jean-Guy is still playing Hockey three times a week and this past season assisted coaching the Haslett-Williamston High School Hockey. Dr. Denise rather prefers to landscape and garden.
“We like to be active, hence the treadmill in the living room. The TV fries the brain so we play instead! We eat as much organic food as possible trying to eliminate chemicals in our system. That’s why we chose not to vaccinate or give our kids or ourselves medications. Our last two children were beautiful home births! We believe in getting back to basics like live food as much as possible. Staying away from boxed, canned, or frozen foods. We supplement with whole food products from Juice Plus, Omegs 3’s, and liquid vitamins.”
